Hatty hit the London circuit around 2009 playing various london clubs performing 10 to 20 min sets to now Headline spots. She has already played along side the likes of Josie Long, Stewart Lee, Issy Suttie and Robin Ince and Bridget Christie
She has compared various london clubs including her own club ( parent and baby lunchtime club) Screaming with laughter . . ‘It was the most creative and effective way I have seen of producing a warming and friendly atmosphere’ (Compering in Edinburgh) Three Weeks.
2011 brought a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with her first solo 40 minute show Hatty Ashdown-Nan Child receiving a 4 star review from Three weeks and featuring in List magazines top 5 Free Fringe Shows.
Presenting
Hatty is radio regular, currantly presenting on infamous Resonance FM on The Other woman show Thursday’s 3.30pm . She also has her own Podcast ( who bloody doesn’t ) but this ones super cosy & leaves you knowing abit more then you did before … ‘ Hattys Running a Bath – ‘ where I interview some of my favourite people from comedy about their perfect night in ‘ . Was at BBC London Radio for two years with her own live slot of ‘Hattys Haberdashery’ covering the arts & crafts of london and a whats on guide for London .
Hatty’s personable and warm stage persona is something that she has put to good use not only in stand-up but also in TV presenting, interviewing celebrity names such as James Brown, Lou Reed and Esther Rantzen for the BBC and Channel 4.
Acting
Hatty played Josie Longs Sister Kerry in her sitcom for BBC radio 4 Romance and Adventure.
Hatty starred as Dawn in sitcom Marshals Law Marshals Law 2012-2013
Hatty has featured in various TV commercials inc. pizza Hut, Boots,PSP, and Heart Fm.Played medusa on Kids show Ross Lee’s Ghoulies on Nicelodeon and a frumpy fairy in CBBC broom cuboard live on Christmas Eve. After graduating from Drama she performed in two theatre companies, including her own one woman show Chick Habit playing 4 comedy characters at the Ipswich festival. Hatty has also had photographic career as character model for Mr Kipling, nicorette,Play Station to Heinz Beans to name a few!

Hatty is with SM voices and has been the voice of a hula hoop for hula hoops low fat TV advert and various corporate roles .
